Local design firm delivers training; members of participating organizations earn continuing education units
Aspen, CO (7/16/2018) – Educating architects, builders and interior designers on how to effectively and efficiently integrate technology into their projects is a top priority for Powerhouse Engineering Partners. Recently, Brandon Manka, Founder of Powerhouse Engineering Partners, received the CEDIA Outreach Instructor (COI) designation from the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) enabling him to deliver multiple courses approved for continuing education credit by the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the American Institute of Building Design (AIBD), Interior Design Continuing Education Council (IDCEC)-governed interior designer associations (ASID, IIDA, and IDC), and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI).
These courses are designed to familiarize professionals in the construction industry as to current and future technologies available to them and their Clients, and how to manage them throughout the design/bid/build process. Courses cover such topics as infrastructure requirements, lighting control basics and how to prepare for motorized shading systems. These courses are provided at no charge.
